As Director of Legislative and Governmental Affairs, Michael Vigoda is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating an integrated program of legislation review, development, information and advocacy. Michael also serves as the PLCB Board Secretary.
Previously, Michael spent more than five years at the PLCB working as a liaison between the agency and legislators. A native of Schuylkill County, Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history from Millersville University. Before joining the PLCB, he was a constituent services representative for a member of the United States Congress, providing community outreach and involvement among dozens of community leaders and thousands of constituents; acting as a proxy for the congressman at meetings, speaking events and other public engagements; and maintaining professional dialog with elected officials on the local, state and federal level.
Michael lives in Schuylkill County with his wife, Karen, and their daughter, Mariah. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spoiling his daughter and watching his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, as well as reading books about the Civil War.
